Follow the Footsteps of HKUST

I am a high school sophomore student in the Mainland, a better understanding of the UST began in the Spring Festival in my first year.

Rocky is a friend of my brother at elementary school, he joined the Hong Kong residence, and that year he returned to the mainland to visit relatives. I was attracted by his temperament, it is no wonder we have not seen for a long time. My brother told me, Rocky went into the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Business School. Hong Kong University of Science and Technology is one of the top universities in Hong Kong, in which all students are as bright as Rocky. Well, I remembered this rather new name - the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

At high school year one, we were ignorant. At year two, according to the mechanism of the Mainland, I needed to choose liberal arts or science. Choosing science, I almost did not hesitate, family and friends were a little surprised, my liberal arts performance in the class can easily go to top 20, but science below 70. At that time, I found only the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in my brain and it has been deep rooted in my dream. I would like to study science, I also want my life full of scientific colour…

Each Sunday to go home, I will look up the Internet for HKUST stuff, and know that she is located in Clear Water Bay (I will visit there when I go to Hong Kong), the abbreviation is UST, (I like beginning with 'U 'word), Professor Ye Yuru achievements in the biological aspects, UST has already climbed the first in Asia in 2011…

Now, I am going to year three. My results in science is around 40, and sometimes my mother would complain: "you should have chosen liberal arts, you cannot compete with others in science ah! " But I do not regret, people say that I could not be good at science, but I choose to try. I want to put on white robe and work on science in the future.
